Marian Espina
Fall 2021- Present
Marian is a UNLV graduate. She received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Couples & Family Therapy. Currently, she plans on pursuing a Master’s in Couples & Family studies in order to eventually become a licensed therapist.
Before Marian starts applying to graduate school, she will enjoy spending time with her dog and watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Jaelin Isquith
Fall 2022- Present
Jaelin is a senior at UNLV majoring in psychology and minoring in family studies. Her major goal is to get her PhD in Clinical Psychology and open her own private practice being a clinical psychologist for children. She also has a goal to conduct her own research one day.

She has many hobbies and interests including lacrosse and reading. Jaelin is the president of the women’s lacrosse team at UNLV and has been playing the sport for 10 years. She is an avid reader. Last year she read 84 books!
Alexander Choi
Spring 2023 - Present
Alex is a senior at West Career and Technical Academy High School. He is interested in studying and learning more about developmental psychology and wants to pursue a career in the medical field.
He does a lot of things in his free time such as play the piano and play video games and enjoys spending time with his friends and one day hopes to travel the world.
Omar Arcila
Summer 2023 - Present
This is Omar Arcila. He is majoring in Biology and minoring in Psychology. He is currently a senior at UNLV. His interests in research lie in developmental psychology. He hopes to graduate and apply to PA school with a focus on pediatrics. His hobbies include roller skating, playing the guitar, volunteering, and watching movies.
Sophia Salinas
Summer 2023 - Present
Sophia Salinas is a senior at UNLV majoring in psychology. Currently she works with the Baby and Child Rebel Lab and the PEP Lab while she finishes up her degree. Her goal is to become a clinical psychologist and work with children and adolescents.
In her free time Sophia enjoys crocheting, watching horror movies, and enjoys collecting antiques and oddities.
Alondra Skertchly-Blanco
Summer 2023 - Present
Alondra is currently a senior at UNLV majoring in psychology and minoring in neuroscience. Her goal is to get a PsyD. in clinical psychology with a children’s specialization. She wants to make an impact helping children and adolescents cope with mental health conditions.
Currently Alondra is an RBT. She helps children with fragile-X syndrome, autism, ADHD and ADD from the ages of 2 to 16. She works on helping them develop functional communication, improve attention, memory, social skills and increase academic performance.
Richard Ho
Fall 2023- Present​
Richard graduated from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas with a B.A. in Psychology. He is currently looking to pursue a graduate degree in social work, behavioral analysis, or clinical therapy. He is interested in welfare and clinical psychology, specializing in the younger population of children and adolescence. He currently works as a math tutor for K-12 and recently began working as an RBT.
His hobbies include playing with his dog Coco, video games like Pokemon and Bloons TD6, and finishing the rest of his watch list. He especially loves rewatching old cartoons like Spongebob.
